Invitations and Tickets
Send branded invitations in one step. Each person who registers gets a ticket email with their QR code. Mark someone registered by hand without emailing them, then send tickets when you are ready, to one person or everyone who has none yet.
Reminders That Send Themselves
Turn on reminders and Shoal emails everyone registered a week before and again the day before. Message everyone registered, people invited who haven't registered yet, or a single track from the Emails tab.
In-App Notifications
Post updates to the attendee app now or schedule them for later in the event's time zone. Add several at once in a grid, or import them from a CSV. Notifications stay in the app and never fill anyone's inbox.
Audiences by Rules
Define an audience with simple rules, such as company, job title, track, ticket type, a session they picked, an answer to a question, or whether they have checked in. Membership updates on its own as people change, and you can preview who is in it.

Questions
Do notifications go out by email?
No. Notifications appear in the attendee app. Use the Emails tab when you want to email people.
Who do the emails come from?
They are sent by Shoal in your branding, with your event's name and logo.
Can I turn reminders off?
Yes. Reminders are a switch on each event's Emails tab.
